The subject of gay sex has particularly serious implications in the context of armed forces where soldiers (including officers) have to undergo long periods of separation from families/friends, isolated from the world and in the hostile climates. If gay sex becomes legalized in the armed forces, the authority of the seniors in the hierarchy, the discipline and the obedience to orders which are so sacrosanct may become prone to misuse and subordinates may get pressurized to submissiveness. Any act/ behavior which can compromise morality and integrity, and make a soldier vulnerable can never be acceptable in the armed forces.
