A Qatar Emiri Air Force F-15QA (Qatar Advanced) will be present and displaying at the airshow. The F-15QA model has been key for the most recent evolution of the aircraft into the latest F-15EX fighter.
While the F/A-18 Super Hornet is being offered for the Indian Navy’s carrier-borne fighter jet requirement, it is also a candidate, along with the F-15, for Boeing’s offer for the Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter requirement.
The company will also demonstrate the LiteHUD Head-Up Display, the 40 Mk4 Air Defence Gun, the 57 Mk3 Naval Gun System and the Combat Vehicle 90 and BvS10 Beowulf vehicles.
The wing is built at the Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructures Limited (TLMAL) facility in Hyderabad, which is also the ‘single global source of C-130J empennage assemblies installed on all new Super Hercules aircraft’.
The exhibition is expected to feature special business days and conferences, including an investment conference, a defence innovation event, an India-Africa Defence Dialogue and an India-Russia defence industry conference.

This is the third aircraft to be delivered under an option contract for four additional aircraft that the Ministry of Defence awarded in 2016 in addition to the eight aircraft already in service.
Admiral Gilday will also embark the U.S. Navy Carrier Strike Group led by USS Carl Vinson in the Bay of Bengal as the second phase of the four-navy Exercise Malabar takes place this week.
The navies of the four Quad countries, India, Japan, Australia and the U.S., will be running drills till Friday, following on from the first phase which was held in the Philippines Sea in August.
India’s defence ministry said the Indian side ‘made constructive suggestions for resolving the remaining areas but the Chinese side was not agreeable and also could not provide any forward-looking proposals’, and ‘The meeting thus did not result in resolution of the remaining areas’.
