the qts here is why are so many young officers leaving what makes them not stay on, yes one cannot argue about the benifits within the service which is excellent but what about the training, is it able to give officers the required degree of knowledge in order to cope with pressure? a recent comment by a Lt gen stated that the quality of officers is not high and colse to 80% officers did not pass their part B and D exams, so why is the army selecting officers that are not intellegent enough? how come do they them bost about the SSB being a full proof system of selection or is the army still suffering from colonial era hang-ups of being masters and not public servants:does ego and false notions of status still persist? there is a huge contradition, the recent scams have open a big can of worms and surely the army is not above the law. this issue of shortage has been coming a long way every year the 2 military academys fail to fill up their full capacity of tranies why?

can some one look deep within
